How Much Can You Earn on OnlyFans in Hungary? (2026 Data)

Most articles answering this question quote an average, and in this subject the average misleads. OnlyFans has one of the most extreme income distributions on the consumer internet: the top 1% of creators take roughly a third of all payouts. With a distribution like that, the average tells you what the best earners make, not what you will make.

Here are the real numbers, and what actually moves them.

The short answer

Most OnlyFans creators earn under $200 a month, and around half earn essentially nothing. The top 1% earn about $49,000 a year, and the top 0.1% around $735,000. The difference is not luck. It is where the audience comes from, and how consistently it is served.

What the distribution actually looks like

Where you sit Monthly earnings (after the platform's cut)
Bottom 50% $0–24
About 70% of creators under $200
About 10% of creators over $1,000
Top 1% about $4,000 ($49,000/year)
Top 0.1% about $61,000 ($735,000/year)

This is not meant to discourage. It matters because the Hungarian market is full of adverts promising "millions per month", and those figures describe the top few percent presented as typical. If an agency opens with a number like that, ask how many of their creators reach it, and in how many months.

What the platform takes before anyone else

This is the figure most calculations skip. It is not an agency fee, and it applies to you if you work alone:

Platform Cut
OnlyFans 20%
Fansly 20%
MYM 25%

So 500,000 HUF gross on OnlyFans leaves 400,000 before anything else is deducted. If you work with an agency, always ask whether their commission is calculated against the gross figure or this one.

What an agency can and cannot change

An agency can meaningfully move two things, and one it cannot.

What it can move: the size of your audience (marketing that brings real subscribers rather than bots), and the revenue from the audience you already have (chatting, PPV sales, consistent posting). Both take time and work, and both are measurable.

What it cannot do: guarantee earnings. Subscribers decide. Anyone promising a guarantee is selling, not forecasting.

So the realistic question is not "how much will I earn", but "how much more will I earn than working alone, and what does that cost me".

The predictable alternative: a fixed salary

There is a model that takes the uncertainty above off your shoulders. On a fixed-salary arrangement you are not paid a percentage of your earnings but an agreed monthly amount, regardless of how the month went.

At AfterHours that runs between 600,000 and 2,000,000 HUF per month, depending on performance and schedule. The lower end is for people starting out, the upper end for those working several shifts a week and performing consistently.

It has a real cost: you trade uncapped income for predictability. If your account takes off, commission would have paid you more. If what you need right now is to know what arrives next month, this is the model for that.

A brief note on tax

In Hungary, OnlyFans income is taxable, and it arrives from a foreign platform, which makes the filing more involved than a domestic contract. This is not something to settle from a blog post: get an accountant who has handled foreign platform income before. The part worth knowing in advance is that the income is traceable and the payouts are documented, so "I'll sort it out somehow" is not a strategy.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the average OnlyFans model earn? The average is around $150–180 a month, but that figure is misleading because the top few percent pull it up. The median creator earns considerably less, and roughly half of creators stay under $24 a month.

How much do you need to earn to be in the top 1%? Around $49,000 a year, which is about $4,000 a month. The top 0.1% earn more than ten times that.

How long does it take to earn something meaningful? It depends whether you already have an audience elsewhere. Starting from zero, the first months are typically about building an audience rather than earning. If an agency promises a specific figure by a specific date, ask for it in writing.

Am I better off with an agency or alone? Alone you keep all the revenue, but you also keep all the work: marketing, round-the-clock chatting and content protection. With an agency you keep a smaller share but can produce more, and spend less time on things that are not content. The decision comes down to what that time is worth to you.

How much does the platform take? OnlyFans and Fansly keep 20%, MYM keeps 25%. This applies to every creator, with or without an agency.
